Qi Gong & Tai Chi
Let us do some Matrix moves! Just a bunch of us popping in a video and moving, exercising, cultivating energy together for half an hour.
I’m no master—so this is not a class with instructions--but I have practiced martial arts for years so I can get you to the correct stance and answer any questions you have as I know it. We will alternate between Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises throughout the weeks.
The Chinese martial arts have always been my choice for movement for as long as I can remember observing my father do Kung Fu at 6 years old. I started with Tai Chi as an adult and knew straightaway that its subtle, yet powerful, poses and moves were going to get me strong, fit, fast. Only recently did I discover that the Chinese martial arts have a meditative layer to it--I’ve been practicing Qi Gong daily now for 3 years. And wow.
