Featuring selected readings with improvised piano accompaniment by the author (60 minutes) followed by audience reflections (30 minutes) via Zoom
Artist’s Statement: “What should an author talk during a pandemic look like? I wanted to give the audience a sense of the arc of the book as well as space to process what they’d heard. After deciding to add music, ‘performance art’ seemed like the only fair description. I hope this event gives you a sense of the book, while also providing the opportunity to share your experience of it in the company of people from different parts of the world.”
