Join HR consultant and executive coach Mary Ellen Brennan to learn best practices for building resumes and LinkedIn profiles. In this workshop, Mary Ellen will discuss not only how to represent employment on your resume but also volunteer service. She’ll talk about the differences and similarities between CVs and resumes, as well as US and German formats. And she’ll focus on developing content that gets you noticed, including writing with active verbs and representing your accomplishments in measurable ways. She’ll also touch on the importance of a cover or motivational letter and how to compose one.

It’s vitally important not only for women business owners but for all women to have a current resume and LinkedIn profile. Don’t miss this chance to make yours shine!

About the Working and Freelancing in Germany Workshops Series

This workshop is part of our Working and Freelancing in Germany Series, a program designed to support our members’ working lives. Women often find that life transitions (relocating overseas, starting a family, grown-up children leaving home, loss of a partner) result in rethinking their professional lives. To support members who are making these transitions and those who are rethinking their careers for any reason—and as part of our mission to help members integrate into Berlin—we’re offering a series of workshops this fall on working and freelancing in Germany.

We hope you’ll join us for the whole series: How to Find a Job in Your New County with Katy Kennedy (September 29), Keeping Your Resume and LinkedIn Profile Current with Mary Ellen Brennan (November 4) and Working for Yourself in Germany (November 6).
