Dear {Contact_First_Name},
Happy beginning of summer! June is my favorite month because the days are long, outdoor pools and beaches in Berlin begin their season and the promise of a long lazy summer lies ahead. As you may have noticed, while the weather is nice, our calendar is full of walks in and around Berlin. Join us for these to get your steps in while discovering the wonderful sights of Berlin.
We have 3 membership-wide events coming up before the summer break, I hope to see you at these:
And lastly, I'd like to talk to you about community and philanthropy. Philanthropy is one the Club’s missions, and we hope it fosters for YOU - our members - a sense of purpose, camaraderie, and fulfillment. On June 5th, we have one of our most important philanthropic events of the year: the Charity Quiz Night. Fabulous prizes, brain-teasing questions, and lots of fun are waiting for you. We still have some spots open, so please REGISTER and bring your partner and friends.
With love,
My-Linh (on behalf of the Board of Directors 2026)

Join the second meeting of our (Re)Imagining American Democracy series of talks and workshops, organized by our Women Who Gather group on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:30pm.
TOPIC: Scheherazade to #MeToo: The Power of Women's Stories
In this discussion, Dina Honour will focus on the power of women’s stories, exploring how they’re used to form communities and facilitate change, from Feminist consciousness-raising groups to #MeToo, and the ways in which women’s stories can reshape the narrative. Can those new shapes help us imagine a more inclusive future?

THE TOPIC: "Neither/Nor: Developing a BothAnd Mindset to Thrive in Ambiguity"facilitated by Marília Lobo and Sara Switzman from BothAnd Catalysts. What if your contradictions are your greatest asset? Some challenges are problems to solve, and some are polarities to manage. Knowing the difference changes everything. In this meeting, we'll explore the concept of polarity management and how adopting a BothAndmindset helps you navigate the tensions that don't resolve, only deepen.
Through practical strategies and interactive discussion, you'll learn to thrive in ambiguity by cultivating the ability to stay comfortable with multiple possibilities, transform complexity into opportunity, and turn anxiety into excitement.

FAWCO Foundation: Target Project Update
Funding for the Power Her Path project is in full swing and our club made its first contribution. Forthcoming events are being planned to continue to raise funds to support the project (Kendra Valentine, our philanthropy chair, will have more on this topic). I would like to share a portion of the thank you letter we received from the FAWCO Foundation for our initial contribution.
"In recognition of your contribution, we would be honored to feature your club name and donation level on the Club Donor Wall on The FAWCO Foundation website.
Attached, you’ll also find your club’s digital Target Medallion recognizing your giving level as of April 30, 2026 (medaillon is pictured here, and will be on our website).
We’re also excited to share our new article, The Visual Story of Power Her Path, which explores the meaning and symbolism behind the project’s medallions, thermometers, and visual identity.
Thank you again for being part of this collective effort and for helping move Power Her Path forward."
